Humanity solved the problem of agricultural poverty a century ago. In this century, the only reason small holder farmers remain poor is that they are unable to access proven tools and knowledge. Motive Africa takes long term holistic Approach to improve the lives of small holder farmers. We provide a service bundle that meets all the needs of the small holder farmer: access to credit, to good inputs (seed and fertilizer), to training, storage and market facilitation

Training, inputs and farmer credit are interdependent, as extension and training informs and affects which inputs are used, which is in turn shaped by access to credit with a flexible payment system. Hence, ideally, only smallholder farmers who have adequate knowledge of input usage would also get access to inputs on credit. These services are often together (bundled) to optimize their effectiveness
