Potential

Untitled-3.png
  • 80 percent of all farms in Africa are smallholder-owned.

  • More than two-thirds of Africans depend directly on agriculture for their incomes

  • Small holder farmers produce up to 80% of the food consumed and support up to two billion people (IFAD 2010).

  • With the right tools and knowledge, small holder farmers could increase their harvests by up to 30 percent, enough to feed 150 million more people globally.

Challenge

Untitled-2.png
  • Three quarters of the world’s poorest people are hungry farmers who are unable to grow enough food to feed their families for the entire year

  • They struggle to gain access to critical resources which include: finance, quality inputs and modern Agronomic practices

  • In rural sub Saharan Africa, there are more than 50million small holder families

Solution

Untitled-1.png
  • A complete solution that provide inputs, training, finance and rural distribution to last mile farmers.

  • build the capacity of small-scale farmers to increase production, and safely store and market their crops

  • By 2050, the world will need to increase agricultural production by at least 60 percent to feed a projected 9 billion people in the world.

Path to Prosperity

if we invest in farmers and they become more productive, they will earn more money and climb out of poverty and it gets better.  when farmers become more productive, they earn more food and don’t just help themselves but help to feed healthy communities and thriving economies.
